The party has no legitimacy

Sure walks like a slave mentality and talks like a slave mentality, what does he think he is a Victorian butler? What’s “his place” I wonder.

Anyway it’s exactly what Mao was talking about in the second part of that quote:

Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party.

Hell of a CCP constitution, always admired the balls to spell it right out that the People’s Liberation Army is loyal only to you and not the people (while your skimming off them too). Great marketing on the military name.

You don’t see the spectacle of soldiers everywhere like in an amateur dictatorship. The CCP gun is way more sophisticated. Imagining modern China ruled by an unarmed CCP is pure cognitive dissonance. They’ve fused China/CCP/Gun into the structure of the place. Could probably go years without consciously thinking about it, but it’s always there in the background. Not your turf, not your rules.

I never worried once about street criminals on the road no matter how late. But its like the old mafia neighborhoods in New York nobody locked their doors etc, everyone especially street thugs knew you don’t fuck around in a mafia neighborhood. Feeling secure in your skin isn’t the same as feeling protected.
