I just want to say a big thanks to flickchicknic and everyone here for giving me a slap in the face and waking me from my slumber. I think being a long-time Schmoes fan has conditioned me to lower my expectations regarding announcements, promises etc. I still love the Schmoedown, and want to support and contribute to it, but they sure are making it hard for me.

I'm probably the type of patron they hope for - signed up for the $10 tier to get the early access, saw the additional perks when I signed up and thought 'that sounds pretty cool', but completely forgot about them and just continually paid the monthly fee to get the matches. I didn't really pay any attention to the difference in time between public/paid release, and I couldn't care less whether a match is live or pre-recorded.

The problem is... I went to have a look at my membership and possibly cancel it, assuming that I could just join up again in the future, but it looks like the tiers have changed. I don't watch SEN, Goofball, Big Thing etc (nothing against Kristian personally, I'm just not a fan of his brand of comedy), and I zone out during the inbuilt ads/promos etc in the Schmoedown videos. Was this announced somewhere? I think the PPV Access tier is the same as the old $10 tier (stripped of most of the extra perks), but it's now $12. So do I cancel, and then pay more if I want to sign up again? Or do I just stick my head back in the sand? Also, the video they have describing the different levels is from 2019, so nothing really matches up. It's pretty funny.

This has a sort of Moviepass-ish vibe to it.
