If repeated deep conclusive blows to body causes it more then hits to head or concusions. It's big deal. It means taking bumps in wrestling is issue. Tackles in football and hockey are issue even if you dont get hit to head. How do you protect yourself from that? You dont, only way is to not have them. As far that is just one theory presented. Doctor studying it said how it would mean MMA is safer then football as far cte comes. But we dont know until we find way to determine cte from person whitout autopsy. Only then real studies can be done.

But still. Blaming concusions and talking about them as reason is just distraction that lot of people use.
