Paula Strawn is a legend

It’s incredible how often I was judged and offended by people like you when my child had to wear a helmet. She was born with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) wich means she had to wear a pavlik harness day and night. This was due to the position she had in the womb before birth, she got stuck and was born with her neck muscles developed more on one side than the other, her head was already flat on the side before birth. We could not ly her in another position because of the harness. I carried her all day in a baby sling, no stroller or car seat at all. After a few months her face started looking stranger and stranger, because it’s a natural thing your eyes for your eyes to look forward, so when your face is always looking aside, your eyes grow in a way you still can look forward. At this point her head and face was so crooked we decided to let her wear the helmet, strongly adviced to do so by a doctor. It broke my heart but I have a beautiful daughter now who can see right with both eyes. What really broke my heart was people like you judging. Please stop this, you don’t know the backstories of kids with helmets, it’s not like they’re handing them out to everyone.
