Pax 3 concentrates cartridge is backwards compatible with Pax 2. Express your demand by emailing them!

No you're off... My major is Business Admin & MIS, based off what I've learned from my lectures this is what's going on.

There's a big market of current PAX 2 owners and a big market of potentially new customers for PAX. This is because the popularity of vaporizing tobacco & marijuana is increasing rapidly. One of my good friends owns a smoke shop and he's getting increase in sales for vaporizers.

I think PAX wanted to attract new potential customers and they didn't just want to release a some oven add on. It'll throw their projections off. By releasing a new PAX product with some new features is good enough for those who are becoming convinced of investing their money to purchase a PAX product. In addition, that new oven add on allows PAX to have a whole new category of customer type, concentrate consuming customers. A customer that is in the market of purchasing a vaporizer that has a concentrated oil add on will now be able to get his hands on a PAX 3 and feel good about the "just newly released product".

Now for us PAX 2 users. We are clearly very happy with the product and we're not really too interested for an upgrade because of how satisfied we currently are. But it would be pretty shitty if PAX 3 came out with the add on option and us PAX 2 users were left alone with no options. The upgrade from PAX 2 to 3 would've been way too quick for us, PAX 2 came out not too long ago.

So this gives PAX the opportunity to cater to two, new types customers. The ones that are happy with PAX 2 and can now enjoy concentrated oil with it, and the ones that needed a new PAX or never had one without feeling like they should've just bought the PAX 2 with add on. If anything, I consider this a job well done and I'm sure my professors would've agreed.
