This kind of thing is why more men should seriously consider marrying foreign women.
My brother and I are twins, mostly the same. We even work for the same company. So we make a good comparison. He decided to date American women, saying dating foreign was too complicated and would take too long. He has been through many, many horrible and outright abusive relationships. They have taken his money and dumped him after he was thousands in debt. They have assaulted him and mostly they have also cheated on him. The woman he's with now seems good, but it took a long time and much effort to reach this point.
I started dating a Filipina for my first ever relationship. We've been married for years now and things are perfect, we couldnt be happier together. She's a hard worker, wants to take care of her family, is loyal and endlessly understanding and loving. I work an ordinary job, she doesn't care about money, I proposed to her with a $100 ring, she said I could have proposed with a piece of string. We got married in a law office with like two witnesses and no party, she said it was perfect because it was with me. I was able to get to know her, save money to visit her, and go through the entire visa process, AND get married, all in less time than it took my brother to find a good woman in the West.
There's a stereotype that foreign women are gold diggers. Some are, but those are the bar crawling women who wait in touristy areas just waiting for white men to come by. People run into them at a high rate because they look in places that gold diggers frequent. They're not actually very common out of the general population. Of my wife, her family, and her friends, maybe like 1 or 2 women actually obsess over money.
Meanwhile, virtually every girl my brother has dated obsesses over money. We have quietly sleepwalked into a society where Western women are more material obsessed than the third world countries which have a stereotype as gold diggers. It's so bad that when one of my feminist college courses 6 years ago was watching a documentary on foreign marriage and how it "exploits women," most of the women in the class were in open agreement that you should never date foreign women because they're all gold diggers. . . Meanwhile, in the same discussion, they said Western women are more reasonable. . "We don't care about money as long as you can give us the lifestyle we deserve"
That was what they actually said. People were nodding in agreement. Wtf is that. How is our society so broken that we are reduced to this. Ugh. /Endrant.
