Paying £400 per month for fully comp insurance + bike payment but had an idea that seems to work out better?

Counter idea, enjoy your new promotion for a few months while saving cash then just buy a not-brand-new 600RR with like 5,000 miles on the clock and save yourself like ten grand in the process for not buying and financing a brand new bike.

Maybe I'm just inclined against finance options but they always seem way too risky to me - even if your insurance would repair any crash damage, you're probably going to have eye-watering insurance premiums after a big claim like that and you might end up finding your dream bike is now a nightmare that's eating up more of your monthly income than your other bills combined.... but it's financed so you can't even get out of it now you're in.

Several years of hoping to god you don't smash it up because you're fucked if you do.... that's not for me.
