I mean in OP's defense a little (I really don't want to defend him) you also would have a PC too. I hate the comparison of xbox price vs price straight up because it doesn't work unless you are someone without a PC also. So for most people it should be their cheap PC be it a budget laptop or just cheap big box packaged desktop plus xbox to get the total cost. So if you are going to have a $300 PC for web browsing and itunes or whatever, and the $200 xbox. Your total cost for the whole thing is $500. In which case a $500 pc can be built that will probably be a smoother PC experience than that $300 prebuilt as well as probably game just as good if not a little better than a one S.
