PCat and Med release

Hi everyone,

I created a post yesterday, but for some reason, it isn't appearing in this subreddit, this is the most relevant and most recent thread, so decided to post it here:

A few quick questions, I'll keep this as short as possible.

I'm currently on a TCAT, PCAT appointment coming soon. I've got a high-risk MEL stating I am "Unfit Operational Environment". Just met with a Nurse Case Manager and she stated that my MEL will breach my UoS as soon as I am assigned my PCAT, and I will likely proceed through the medical release process. She stated that DMCA will likely release me due to my PCAT, high-risk MEL and of course breaching the UoS.

However, I've heard of members with high-risk MELs who were assigned a PCAT, but DMCA kept them in against their wishes.

My question is:

  1. How high risk is my MEL and is a medical release very likely in my situation?

I've pretty much have accepted that I am going to be medically released, but despite what the Nurse Case Manager said, I am not so sure. I continuously hearing mixed messages from people who have been through this process.
