(PDF) 2018 American Chamber of Commerce China Business Climate Report

I'm thinking that "revenue opportunity" is business speak that equates to something like how I see my next year in this country as "happy". There's no guarantees that it will be so, and the facts on the ground have shown a trend to point in the opposite direction. But well, on paper, I guess I'll be happy. The macroeconomic factors look good. The small, targeted, predatory things are unpredictable and don't really enter my judgement.

The most helpful thing in this report though is the comparison with previous year, which helps establish a baseline. 3% more felt the favoritism for local firms compared to last year. It looks like the banks / financial service providers are still holding out hope for that reform, though.
