“This is a peaceful protest too” - Commuter sabotages ladder that leads to accident at Save Old Growth Highway Blockade (credit to @arvinoutside)

What possible intent could there be to angrily breaking pieces of a structure, if not to damage the structure and hurt the person supported by it? Be real.

because intent is literally what court cases are made up of.

What? LOL. People can also be convicted of crimes without intent all the time, for example, reckless endangerment or public endangerment, which operates regardless of intent (which again, what possible intent could there be outside of causing harm?).

This guy threw a tantrum and put someone in the hospital cause he was delayed on his commute. He even says "How's this for peaceful protest?" before ripping at the structure. His intent is pretty crystal clear.
