Peacocks in China zoo die from shock after tourists pluck out their feathers

I used to work a lot in the tourism industry in Miami and Orlando.. a lot of these articles I read online about the "worlds worst tourists" are only partially true.

Favorite foreign tourists:

  • Swedes - Too themselves, polite, slight snobbery but rarely have I seen them act entitled like most tourists. Also, they actually tip!

  • Russians - If you're American and you've ever visited a major tourist site, with mainly other Americans.. that's a Russian in Miami. They can be many things but overall they're good tourists with good manors. The only thing I hate is they don't tip, including regulars that actually live in the city.

  • Germans - Only complaint I have is they're the most arrogant I've come across. They don't hide the fact that they think everything and everyone around them seems inferior to them. But literally everything else I have to give high marks. When I waited on tables, and there were several times at tables I served where Germans wanted to really make sure they got the whole tipping thing right.

  • Brazilians - They're actually my favorite tourists. They're loud as fuck and can be insanely annoying but they make up for it by being sweet as hell and a lot of fun.

Least favorite foreign tourists:

  • Chinese - All of the above. Literally, everything you dont want a tourist to do, they do. I'll keep it at that.

  • Jews - I'm going to be murdered for saying this and I know Jew isn't a nationality.. but as a waiter they're a nightmare. Many I came across where clearly born in the US or Canada but I felt as if they thought they owned me. And yeah they do tip, but it's the absolute minimum.

  • Canadians & US Americans - Again, it's taboo to say anything negative about Canadians but in 6 years I never saw any difference at all. It's a heavy mixture both at Universal and Disney and in Miami.. you'll have some extremely nice people that will even clean up the table as they eat down to the crumb on the table then you have the most nightmarish people you could imagine.. typically when they're in big groups. Both nationalities are extremely aware of how to act and behave so there's zero 'foreign' excuse.

But again, I love Brazilian tourists but yeah they really do sing and dance. lol
