Pedophilia Is Not a Crime, Says Rutgers Prof Margo Kaplan | News

Wasn't there a pedophile acceptance movement in the 70's that had to do with the origins of NAMBLA? I know there was an internal memo from the Catholic church during that decade that stated that the bible does not explicitly condemn pedophilia. This bullshit where pedophiles 'come out of the closet' to speak eloquently about their life long struggle to repress the desire to rape children and that they are normal people just like us is old as dirt. There's a documentary called Chickenhawk about pedophiles and there's a federal investigator who talks about how pedophiles describe their condition as a sexual orientation rather then a paraphilia.

I've been re-watching to catch a predator. 99% of the people they catch are pathetic, unlikely and appear harmless. In fact, people were kind of angry about this series and were convinced that it was some kind of trick, that harmless loser men who were desperate for companionship were being tricked into breaking the law.

Many of them not only had every intention of raping someone as young as 13 and brought alcohol and condoms but many had records/were repeat offenders. It was impossible to guess who was who before they were confronted and broke down in front of police. Naive people expect pedophiles to look evil or be violent but that's not how the real world is.

I'm so tired of the bullshit. For some reason, the dominant liberal position is that sexual abuse in childhood is not responsible for any kind of strange adult behavior and if something is genetic then its therefore uncontrollable and therefore can't be wrong. Anyone who disagrees is a prude, conservative bigot who at best deserves a dismissive pat on the head and at worst deserves to be vilified.
