Pedro here, let's talk about Banners?

THe first thing , i always considered the Gaben religion part of a inside joke, and now there is this demonization of him, that i also dont take serious, because RLY? do you think He is the Devil now? i always try to atribute to ignorance first, then i will say if it's malice, if ignorance is not proved.

GabeN have always been at least to what i saw a good person, not a god, not a devil , a person , who also is a businessman, one that might wrong sometimes, and he is for us, the face of steam, maybe it's one of the reassons that we are agry to him, as steam have many failures , crappy costume service(hell, 90% of the problems that i see are resolved not by the in-engine service but by emailing people of valve to fix it, like Gabe) , the recent steam paid mod failure on skyrim(something that already exist on steam for DOTA2,TF2,CS..and people dont) and that i atribute to ignorance mixed with a little of greed on how the comunity worked , and STEAM did some good things, i am from Brazil and its incredible the price diference from console to steam games because of steam.

But Steam is too powerfull, it's a giant , and even a small mistake can have earth-shattering effects, it's almost a monopoly and to tell the truth, should we demonize STEAM and GabeN like WE are some sort of mindless cult? no , but we should make pressure against crappy attitudes, pressure for steam to improve on their service and client support, rly when i ask for support i dont think i should email the boss and all other employers to have a solution, i want the support to resolve it.

Now that i said my opinion that GabeN should stay, i see by the reaction of some people that truly venerated him, well , you shouldnt, also you shouldnt demonize him.

What we should is praise good actions and denounce bad ones, we should support not only Gabe/steam for what they did ,we should also need to pull a ear or two when they do a bad thing.

we should also show apreciation for other companys that we thing do a great thing to our community, not directly but indirectly, Humble Bundle allow for cheap games and ALSO its charity work.
