I sometimes think of President Eisenhower's farewell address to the US, and I think if he were alive today he would look at us like a disappointed parent looks at a child that has been caught doing exactly what told not to.
Just think of the things this guy had seen, and what he could talk about. Eisenhower was the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during WWII, then he becomes president. And among the items to warn the people about is the military industrial complex.
