Why do people act as though atheists and religious extremists are equal because atheists may say “rude things” on the internet?

Most of religious people do not even understand that they are committing hate crime, they are accepting killing a person by believing the religion. I'm an exmuslim and if I lived in a sharia country, I'd be killed if I admired that I do not believe in Islam. They can defend this idea on twitter, reddit and nobody cannot do anything. They advocate the death penalty of homosexuals, and nobody can say anything. Really this situation is so pathetic. Their mind is blown away with fairy tales that they can be so willing to watch my death just because I do not believe in their religion. They call it "treason" that I left a religion that I have never accepted by my own choice. So, after reading this post, nothing can be compared to these guys. I can be an arrogant guy, I can be an arrogant atheist, I can make fun of their religions even however I would never support death of an innocent person just because they had a different belief than me. So, I wont cry for religious people's comments on atheists.
