Republicans treats elections like a war against their fellow Americans, they do not approach discussions with an open mind or with fair intentions. Trump has lied more than any single politician ever and the vast majority of Republicans still support him. Sure, some on the left are deceitful but the acceptance of the vast deceit by Trump in this campaign has been absolutely shameful.

To me, honesty is the number one requirement of a president. Clinton has had made mistakes but generally she has told the truth and fought for what she believes in despite being attacked by a right-wing conspiracy for decades. Every issue that is brought up about Clinton is made to sound like a mountain of corruption but upon investigation is a molehill. Yet Trump literally lies about what he said days ago. There is no comparison.

The fact that millions of Americans want a president who lies to their faces is stunning. The anti-news media sentiment is very concerning because the news media is the single institution whose job, in theory and mostly in practice, is to try to tell the truth. People are literally rejecting reality because they don't agree with it, and they are doing it by the millions.

Trump supporters tend to be male, white, older and uneducated. They are resentful at the rest of America because they are losers. They see educated people and they resent them as "elites". They see skilled immigrants and they resent them as "job stealers". They see blacks and resent them for not being subservient to them. They see women and resent them for not being sexually available to them. They are sore losers of the worst kind and a truly odious bunch.
