People are sterilizing themselves because of Dobbs

So it’s just your own morals saying it’s wrong? Then you don’t have to engage in it. Personal morality shouldn’t dictate others’ actions. I think it’s immoral to shame women for casual sex, and here you are. But I’m not going to try to make it illegal because I’m not a crazy person who thinks everyone needs to act according to my morals. Why do I care if someone does something I don’t agree with, or wouldn’t personally do? I think society is too uptight about sex and people would be happier if we have more open conversations and sex education. But I’m not going to get pissed if someone prefers to never talk about their sex life with their partner.

There’s no proof that people who have casual sex have no self control, at least compared to those who don’t. You’re just making shit up according to your worldview.

I didn’t have casual sex when I was single because it didn’t interest me and I preferred my vibrator to someone I didn’t know very well who probably wouldn’t get me off. It’s not because I had self control.

Women who engage in casual sex often do think it through. Literally browse any subreddit that ever discusses casual sex (ask women, for example). Women who have casual sex don’t do it because they have no self control. They have many reasons for it, such as stress relief, human connection, physical pleasure. It’s not just an instinct that they go on to do it. It’s a conscious choice.

I’m glad I got sterilized too, but if somehow it failed I would be at an abortion clinic so fast, the protestors’ heads would spin.
