People around the world are experiencing record high levels of anger, worry and sadness, a study has found. The Global Emotions Report revealed that “negative experiences” are on the rise, having hit their highest level since records began.

I honestly just don't think a lot of humans are really equipped to deal with the society we've built, our expectations keep getting greater and I highly doubt our brains have evolved to compensate at the same rate.

Some birds can learn up to 1000 words. Others you can try to teach for years and they'll never say anything. But when a bird fails to learn you don't think "they're just not trying hard enough" and throw them out on the street, because we accept that animals have limitations and the ones that exceed those are the exception not the rule. But with humans, every time one of us does something amazing the bar gets raised and all of us idiots are dragged along with it, expected to learn quantum physics when we're still struggling with remembering to eat breakfast.
