People born on February 29th, do you celebrate your birthday on February 28th or March 1st and why?

I don't understand why people make such an effort to celebrate their birthdays. Your only one day older than the previous day. Maybe it was because we never celebrated my birthday. Growing up, we didn't celebrate my birthday until my 4th one (being born on the 28th). It was probably a bigger party than most get though. My mom hired clowns, ordered like 12 pizzas, a cake, some ice cream, and even a giant bouncing house. It was something straight out of a fairy tale. I don't remember much cause I was only 4, but I remember it pretty much being the peak of my childhood. So when my 5th birthday came around and I discovered the pain of having a leap year birthday, I threw a tantrum. I kicked. I screamed. I set the cat on fire. My mom said no more birthdays for you. The 4th birthday was probably cool enough to make up for that though.
