People don't realise how offensive it is to call someone skinny, especially if you say it in surprise as well!

To me skinny is good. I strive for that. I saw my dad a couple years ago after not seeing him for a couple years. He had lost a ton of weight and i had heard he went vegan for awhile. I was shocked because he was typically the type to say "come on eat ice cream it won't hurt you" or "you eat like a bird." So when i saw him i said "wow you lost weight!" while smiling. Then he said "yeah and you've gained. It's like we switched" while laughing. And that hurt my feelings a lot. I never made fun of him for being overweight so i didn't understand why he'd say that.

Conversely, recently I had lost weight by really cutting down on my diet. I pretty much just eat rice, noodles, and beans. When my family member saw me they said i need to eat more protein and began telling a story of someone they knew who died of anorexia at 34. This kind of pissed me off because i'm still barely in the healthy weight zone. I'm like 140 lbs and the healthy weight zone ends at 149 lbs. I want to get skinny. So.

Personally i think stickman is good. You have more energy. You feel lighter on your feet. Your mind is clearer. You fit into clothes better. Your skin looks better (not sweaty with big pores).
