It's kinda hard to stay neutral with certain characters when people start defending blatant neglect or abuse and blaming their victims for the relationship being strained.

Like yeah, that's a trauma thing and people shouldn't be aggressive, but I feel like it should go without saying that you shouldn't defend an abuser's actions and blame the victim for their feelings about being abused, like how people act like it's Sebastian's fault his family never treated him well when it's been going on since he was a small child. It's not a small child's fault they get neglected.

That's why it can be hard for some people to let it go. It genuinely does feel as though abuse and neglect are being justified or defended at times and that's pretty upsetting even for people who aren't victims.
