I would advice building relationships with the muslim countries. Saudi gave 4 billion to Imran Khan back in December (he didnt even need to pay it back) and they also built some huge mosques and unis in pakistan.
Escpecially with the Iran vs Saudi politics, I think it'd be better for us to get help from Saudi or UAE. Tbh I want a totalrian or authortrian president cus thats usually what "saves" failed states. Just look at what Iraq during and after/before Saddam or even extreme cases Germany during and before hitler. Somalia may be diff but its not diff in the aspect you have diff groups (bcus we r so damn tribalistic) and these totalrian/authortrian ppl usually push the national identity more if its clear. i do not condone attacking civilians or using escapegoats but authoritarian or totalitarian leaders PUSH the national identity above all others. You can tighten your loose later on but you need to have an iron grips on really divided societies
