Do people kill fishers?

I certainly didn't give any advice, and I'm not sure what point you are trying to proof.

I simply pointed out that if you have 888 hours of play time in BDO, having to grind for 2 hours to make up for 2 deaths only adds 2 hours of playtime, which is .002%. It's a drop of water in a giant bucket.

If you want to bring up how much time of that was spent doing various activities, you are setting up your own counter argument. At that point, doing ANYTHING other than grinding for a hour is wasting just as much time as dying. Obviously he didn't grind for 888 hours. So at that point, your argument is just "Every hour he didn't grind added a hour more he has to grind to make up for the hour he spent doing something else."

Put it this way, in 888 hours he has only died 2 times. To make a fishing alt and get them fishing, from gathering or making whatever they need to wear/use/etc on your main to character creation to running out somewhere to having to switch between characters every time to literally everything that goes along with having that alt...is going to cost more than 2 hours across all 888 of those hours. In almost a thousand hours at alt is going to have at least 2 hours of hassle.

At the end of the day, no matter how you look at it, it doesn't matter. That was the OP's point. It's a negligible amount of XP loss for the amount of time he has been playing and making a alt wouldn't somehow make up for it, he could have just spent all the time making the alt grinding, and all the time logging on and switching characters and doing all the alt things grinding his main, and it would more than make up for having a alt over not having one...but in EITHER case you are only "making up for" a whole .002% of play time, so its a moot point from any direction you approach it. He could have been killed 20 times and still say the same thing.
