You people need to shut the hell up and get real very fast.

“I'd love to see how you morons would "BsG jUsT fIx It!" if you had to rewrite a non-scalable linear server architecture into a fully scalable self-managing engine yourselves.”

Firstly, I wouldn’t be in this position to begin with in terms of not building for scalability. Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining large scale cloud and / or server environments - in cash strapped non-Profit settings is what I do. AWS / GCS / Azure? Let me at it. The frustrating part is that it’s likely not as difficult as you - or even they assume it to be. It’s just their relative level of expertise / ignorance and task prioritization with respect to their overall project management.

Second, for me it stems to reason that if this was a choice made early on, that sort of thinking or cutting corners or failure to adequately plan ahead (or whatever the excuse is) might be infecting more decisions moving forward, so emphasizing these points can help better direct where the focus should be - as opposed to gameplay elements. (In my opinion gameplay elements don’t really matter if you can’t play the game in the first place, right?)

Third, if we are paying to Beta / QA / Stress Test, we damn we’ll have the right to give feedback. Just as your post history indicates. So, just enjoy your internet points :)
