People of reddit what are some things that a person can do to make you think they’re attractive?

Be humble. And I don't mean the "oh look at me, I do this and that, I'm so humble" type of people, but genuine people who are happy with themselves, who don't feel the need to present themself to others, who genuinely feel compassion for others and don't think the world revolves around them. No matter how hot a girl looks, if she tries to sell herself more than she should, she automatically gets a no from me. Of course, this is how I feel, and someone else doesn't have a problem with this. Humility is really an underrated trait to have. Like, of course you have to feel pretty and attractive but don't push it to the point that you convince yourself that you're no.1 and you deserve all the attention. See it too much today. Accept your faults but know your worth and place. If I don't think you're special, some other guy will and vice-versa. Looks are subjective and in no way an indicator of a persons worth. You can't expect people to hold you above the others just because you're attractive. So yeah, if I say something nice to a girl and she seems really surprised I said that eventhough all I did is state the obvious, she's only building herself more and more. If I say to a girl that she's pretty and her answer is I know I'm pretty, my natural reaction is to just turn away and leave.
