Years ago I was dating a Muslim girl. We'd been dating for a long time, but her parents had a marriage arranged for her in pakistan. Long story short, we broke up, and she went to pakistan to get married.

A couple weeks into her time there I had a dream. I was on a beach. I remember it vividly. If you've ever played final fantasy 8, it was just like the beach in the intro. I was standing on this beach, and I clearly heard my exes voice say to me "disposablepewpew, I need you". This woke me up. Now, I've never put any stock into dreams, and had never experienced anything like this. I was shaking when I had woken. After getting out of bed, and composing myself, I went out and bought a calling card. This was before Skype and whatsapp where a thing. I called the last number I had for, and she answered. After exchanging pleasantries , she asked why I was calling her. I told her about the dream, and she fell silent. A moment later, she told me she'd been molested by her brother in law earlier.

Now, as I said, I don't put much stock into dreams. I'm also not religious or spiritual in anyway, but this one event has stuck with me. I dont know what the chances of this being a coincidence are, or what caused it. All I know is, is that something happened. Exactly as I've written here with no embellishments.
