People of Reddit, Whats something your parents think about you, that’s completely untrue?

I barely have friends because I tends to spend most of my leisure time behind a computer (gaming/hobbyist programming). So they think that I am addicted to to a computer, not having a social life. That I cannot socialize.

It is true that I don't have many friends, but thing is, I can socialize. I go out. Just not often. I have a little introvert trait. I don't mind to be silent when a group (of which I am member of) is having a conversation. And sorta "sociopath".

I can and may like to start conversation with a completely stranger. But getting hooked on (unless it for a relational context, such as with my GF) for longer? No. Don't feel to do that. I do not know why. I have tried to "correct" it but I am unable to do. I have joined many leisure clubs (sport clubs, hobby - books, games - clubs ...). They know me, but we are no friends of each other at all. I just don't get hooked on.

My father has the same thing, yet it has not been an issue. It is for me because I am "from a generation where friends are important" (I am from '91)
