I was once driving up an empty motorway over the moors late at night. Down to the left, in the valley below, over the reservoir was a massive ball of white light hovering in the air.

The white light must have been the size of a helicopter, although there was no real reference for size but the light lit the whole valley up. The white light was dead still, it wasn't like a welding type fire or any other fire ball. It was just a massive ball of intense bright white light hovering 50 feet in the air over the water.

It was twenty five years ago, so no camera, no evidence what so ever. I was on my own, driving down a deserted motorway, no I didn't stop. I just noped on out of there.
