People’s voices get suddenly annoying the instant you know they’re a toxic or bad person.

If you think about it in terms of chemicals, toxicity is a spectrum like many other material traits. It just describes how much you can tolerate a substance before the dose becomes harmful or fatal. You can have a non-toxic dose of cyanide, or a toxic dose of water. It’s all about the dosage and the subject receiving it.

Now the problem is how do we define toxicity as a personality trait then? I’m guessing, based on its original definition, that it’s just a synonym for bad behavior in a social setting that ”poisons” the atmosphere. It’s also an easy way to discredit someone you disagree with. Honestly, to me it looks like a term with very little value in a social context. For chemicals it’s great though!
