People seem to think you're on once side or the other.

One of the favorite right wing sophistry tactics is to steer conversation away from the issue and toward some finger wagging (oh the antifa, and oh those riots..). So I don't tend to comment about this when the conversation should be about policing and racism. Still, Remember when adversary nations exploited racial tensions in the US to create instability and unrest? How cool is it for them that people are rioting and looting? I get that something must be done, and nothing really ever seems to work. But a lot of the stuff I see online comes really close to literally inciting violence, and a lot of it is fishy. I don't see any of it as righteous. You can't really say that it "works" either. There's copy pasta floating around on FB about how all the great social progress events happened when people got violent. It literally seems like something some action movie villain would say - "the highest authority in this world is violence, blood alone moves the wheels of history". It's not true, but I can't really start and argument about it.
