I choose not to believe it for the following reasons:

• Flash was previously known as "Manuel" before he was revealed to be Flash at Comic Con. You'd think, if she was MJ, it would have been revealed that she was MJ instead of going with the Michelle name.

• Have you seen the set pics of Zendaya?

Even if she was played by a white actress, she wouldnt look anything like MJ. She looks more like a Nerdy Bookworm, instead if the Party Girl Model from the comics. Zendaya's Character has also described her character as "Smart, always in her books", does that sound like Mary Jane Watson to you?

• The source isn't very reputable, he has said various bullshit in the past regarding Marvel and DC Movies, he seems to have based his career off of Clickbait. Also, who are these other 2 sources? I could go around saying Daredevil is going to be in the next Avengers movie and say "Its true! I have these two sources who can back me up", even if I had sources would that make it true? Nope.

As for Stan Lee and James Gunn "defending it". They never confirmed it, they merely said that MJ could be of any race as long as she stays true to her character.

Bare in mind, Stan Lee is very distant to the Creative Process at both Marvel Studios and Marvel Comics, and Gunn is only the director of GOTG, he even said on Facebook, after he defended it, that he didnt know and was going to ask Marvel if she was.
