Why do people in this sub shit on the idea of getting educated (ie university or college)?

Hey I have a Economics degree. I think getting an education is great. but there's flaws to the system. If you're not good a math, you're pretty limited to your majors. Best degree options you have are graphic design, political science, psychology, and film studies. It might be better for someone to get a vocational degree that they find more useful and interesting. Also I feel like colleges don't really prepare you for the world. They don't develop your character like a Jesuit education might. Like you obtain a lot of academic knowledge but have no adult skills. I spent most my undergrad indoors in the library. I feel like I didn't even age as a person because I was always in the library. I think education is great, but there is definitely some flaws to the system. Plus, some people shouldn't be in college.
