To people voting no to new skill

There is no justifable reason to vote no, at this point in time. Heres why:

Let's be real. A new skill will not be "massively game changing" and it shouldn't be.

Take a look at agility, smithing, or thieving. On their own, they add fairly little content to the game and change fairly little. You can move a little faster, make a few items, or steal a bit of gold. None of those skills would pass a poll as they are, and we all know it.

So the devs are going to find a balance between introducing new content and ways to train the skill, and how intertwined or necessary it is to do the skill.

As per the devs page on this new potential skill, it will be a blend of all the best things, in the best dosage so at to not upset the balance of the game.

Most importantly, as with any other skill in the game, people can simply choose not to train it. Are there consequences to that? Obviously. But if you hate the idea of herblore or the ridiculous agility grind, just don't do it.

The devs creating a new skill only adds to the game, it doesn't massively change it.

At this junction, where we don't yet have skill concepts, there is no justifiable reason to vote no. And if someone is really concerned with changing the game, they shouldn't be playing official oldschool that's already had a lot of new content added, they can go play a pure 07 backup server with no changes.

So once again, at this exact point in time, there is no justifiable reason to vote no.
