People who actually like their jobs, what do you do for a living?

I fly planes for an airline and I also do teaching for the company. It’s been years of a very steep learning curve and shitty jobs but now everything has worked out ok. In the summer I work like 15 days a month and in the winter like 5 days. I spend a couple of days a month flying and the rest teaching people. When teaching most people are super motivated as is the nature of the job so I’m just helping and passing along my experience and stuff I’ve learned over the years and hopefully they improve, it’s really satisfying.

As I side benefit I could to learn from what they do while I sit back with no pressure and just observe, it’s like regular learning x100. Hardly anyone wants to do the teaching which I always thought was nuts, it’s literally more money, better hours, better holidays and the average day is as relaxed as you want it to be. It’s the best kept secret in the industry.
