People who are good at mathematics (and other math-related subjects), what tips would you give to those who are struggling?

If you truly want and/or need to get "good at mathematics" by all means keep it up and perhaps find a good teacher/mentor to help out.

On the other hand, if you have no particular passion or need to get into mathematics, maybe divert your attention to things that you are passionate about: arts, history, politics, creative writing, religion, spirituality, psychology, classic automobile restoration, pottery, marketing...

Your question threw me back to days when I was struggling to find my own interests and talents, particularly with respect to choosing a major at university, and I had kind of settled into a math major, stumbled into a computer class (this when computers smaller than refrigerators were a rarity) and voila, found out I really enjoyed that and was pretty darn good at it.
