People who are married or have been married, is being married worth it?

It is what both of them make it. A marriage can be as healthy or as toxic as a couple makes it. A healthy marriage requires never ending work, compromise and teamwork with love and understanding driving the machine.

So, i guess it totally depends on the couple. My first marriage went south because we just gave up. We weren't wise or mature enough to see that we slowly neglecting each other and then all hell broke loose and my world turned upside down over night.

I now have a fiancée that I love and care for very much and she loves me the same. We work really hard together, talk things out, listen to each other and pay special attention to each other's needes (even when we're not quite sure exactly what those needs are.) Everything that made my first marriage not worth it is making me see all the things that we both need to do to make this one worth it.

Anyways, thats just my 2 cents.
