People who have been in coma, how was it like?

I spent six weeks in a coma as a result of a serious and almost always fatal heart issue(aneurysm.) Honestly, it felt like I was sleeping. I had gone to the hospital on a Saturday, so when I woke up in one, I wasn't surprised since I knew that is where I should have been. I knew some time had passed, and I remember wondering if it was Monday or Tuesday, so as much as I knew time had gone by, I did not know how much. Also, I didn't hear anyone's voices or feel their touches. Doctors and nurses told my parents to expect the worse based on the severity of my issue and used the fact that I was not reacting to any stimuli. So, to me it was like a long and not very restful nap. When I woke up, I spent a few seconds getting my bearings and wondering if I could make my next shift at work which was on Wednesday. I did not realize exactly what had happened until my mom walked into the room and began explaining to me exactly what had happened. The weirdest part of being in a coma were the dreams. They were incredibly vivid, and I still remember them well to this day (over five years later) which is unusual for almost any dream, let alone for several in a row. Not sure if it was the drugs I had been given or just the trauma my body had gone through, but everything else was pretty normal. At least as far as sleeping for six weeks can be "normal."
