So far, 2 people in the past few months. My boyfriend has some great friends but their parents/siblings are pieces of fucking trash so it's amazing that they turned out to be good people. My boyfriend wanted to get involved but was afraid to because he had personally known these people for years and wanted me to help with it. The first was his friends mom who had a 8 year old daughter. The mom got like food stamps, unemployment, etc. on top of $4,000/month in child support money from the father. She would spend all the money on prescription drugs and didn't even take the girl to school. Once we found out she stopped paying rent and they were sleeping outside and in 24/7 restaurants, I called CPS.

Second time was his other friends sister/boyfriend. They're meth head tweakers who had a baby that was maybe 8 months - a year old. They'd leave the baby in the house for hours while in the garage doing drugs and would also bring the baby to go pick up drugs. One time they asked me for a ride to the store so they could get food for the baby. I'm not great and saying no and also since it was for the baby I agreed. They came running out of the store with a bunch of stolen food and I was their getaway car. Called the police right then and there and they took car of the rest.
