People who can only learn history from statues, how did you learn about Hitler?

So you do think statues are used to learn from history when that’s simply not true, as based on your own argument here.

My argument here was that history had already repeated i.e. Germany went to war and lost not once but twice; I'm sure if you could go back in time and say to them "you're going to go to war and lose, not once, but twice", they'd agree it's pretty pointless. The thing about war is both sides have to believe they're in the right. It is quite often pointless and unnecessary because there are other ways to solve conflict without mass genocide.

As for your claim that people do not learn anything about history, from statues, you'd have to prove that claim. Can you provide evidence not a single person has thought to google the person's name after looking at their statue?
