People who have divorced parents, is there any part of you that is bothered when seeing your parent with their new SO?

Yes, because she's a total waste of oxygen. She is a former nurse who was blacklisted at various local health institutes (nursing homes, hospitals) for abusing her patients. She is also the most obnoxious, disgusting person I have ever met. She constantly seeks money/a place to stay/food from my sister and her husband. Unfortunately she left shitstains all over my sister's couch and toilet (and can't/won't) take showers.

This past January, she and my dad got their filthy house condemned by the county. Apparently it was rat-infested and I think they are/were hoarders. Currently they are squatting in a former patient's residence, allegedly "renting from the family." As far as I know, they have no electricity or running water. I do know they are several thousand dollars in debt.

She also has several cats whom she "rescued" when they would probably be better off in the street. One night they stayed at my sister's house over night and left four cats out in the car without a litter box. You can probably guess what kind of filth those poor cats were in the next day.

My sister and her regularly fight because my stepmom is a crazy bipolar. She will flip out on 11-year-old for watching SpongeBob in her OWN HOME. She will constantly pick on the kid's manners too. Obviously, my sister won't put up with that shit.

So all in all, she is a terrible person and I'm pretty sure the only reason my dad stays with her is because he's numbed to everyone and everything and waiting for the sweet embrace of death.
