I used to be super extroverted and had a lot of friends. Then I got really wrapped up with my first serious relationship. My ex liked a grand total of zero of my friends. I started turning down hanging out with them to be able to spend more (all) of my free time with her, for quite a few years. Well, the more you turn someone down, they less they offer in the future, until I was pretty much distanced and isolated from everyone I knew. And now over a year after our break up I have maybe one person I'd call a friend, because making new ones is hard when my self esteem is shot, and I'm too guilty and embarrassed to reach out to the old gang again.

I'm trying to fix myself, but for now I'm just a lonely cat lady lol
