People who have the guts to ask their crush out. What happened afterwards?

She said "I love you too".

There wasn't much of a crush phase, or a clear point when we crossed that line into being more serious. We started as friends. We knew we both liked each other and thought the other was special almost right away, and we both agreed to take it slower than we first wanted to early on. So there was never a point where I said "I have a crush on you." and anxiously awaited an answer. We just knew.

There was, however, a point where I first said, seriously, "I love you". And she returned it without any hesitation or doubt. It's a very good microcosm for the relationship we have as a whole - she knows exactly how to ease my anxiety before I even realize she's done anything. There's never doubt in how we feel about one another.

I'm amazed I'm experiencing something like this - the "we just click" everyone describes. I really love her.
