There’s always that one guy in that tried to push themselves into the high school friend group when no one really wanted them there. I saw that happening to this dude who was a little weird, but we had similar interests and he seemed cool. So I started talking to him and we got closer as friends, hanging out and eating lunch together. We spent all night on Xbox playing together talking about ourselves and sharing personal stuff. Turns out everything he told me about himself was a lie. Then he shared everything personal I told him with my friends and other people who I really didn’t want knowing my secrets. I had great friends, so none of that stuff really affected their opinion of me. I never hold grudges, but I never trusted him again. I still text him sometimes(we go to different unis) and he thinks the whole situation was funny.
