People who liked the "Cuties" trailer. Why?

I have not seen the accual movie, nor have i seen the trailer. But from what i hear the trailer and the movie are kinda different? The movie was made to critisize the hyper sexualization of minors and portray it in a negative light, and draws from the personal experiences of the director. Its honestly a shame that netflix absolutely fucked her over with that marketing stunt. Outrage marketing or not that was unacceptable on their end (not to mention how they fucking danced around the "do you support pedophilia" question they were asked in a customer service chat) personally speaking i really do think the director should sue netflix but thats just me and my understanding of this whole ordeal as someone who hasn't seen the movie yet.
