I haven't lost a shoe on the highway but I did lose a pair of pants and wheit happened I realized that this is how that happens. The events leading up to this are as follows. I was at work in a factory that makes a fibre cement product. We were changing a valve below the roller tub when the roller hand drained the tubs contents out of a drain which let out about 3 feet to my right. I was soaked and had to change my pants. So I borrowed pants from a guy named Victor and I didnt want my soaking wet pants in my locker and so I walked out to my truck, found it to be locked and so I just tossed the pants into the bed of the truck. Some hours later I was on my way home from work and as I merged on to the interstate I saw my pants flap upwards in the bed of my truck and before I could even signal to pull of the highway the pants flipped up again and flew out of the truck bed on to the shoulder of the interstate. Those old pants with many burns in them werent worth stopping alongside a highway and so I just kept on and thought of the people soon to pass by and wonder how someone could lose their pants on the side of the interstate.
