People who lost their job due to this crisis what is your story?

There no cure for the flu, either, and the vaccine is only about half effective at best - and all it does is maybe lessen the effects slightly, and possibly shorten the flu’s duration.

My point is that they’re sensationalizing this whole thing, as usual. For example, there have already been 36 million cases of the this season in the US alone, so why hasn’t that caused a panic, seeing as how there’s no cure, and it’s five times more contagious than the coronavirus?

I believe that the people in our government are more than willing to use awful events like this to gain more power through emergency measures, exactly like they did with 9/11 and the patriot act, the effects of which still infringe on our freedoms today.

In fact, they already are, with the measures regarding the government granting itself permission to take over production in industries, and tell them what needs to be manufactured. This is obviously completely unnecessary, since those companies are the very ones that will know what’s needed, and would be planning to manufacture it already.

The government always wants to stick its nose in everything it can, just in case there is even more money to be made. This is the reason why administrations like the FDA exist - to enforce revenue collection, while coming up with reasons for even more of it to be generated.

The powers that Be are acutely aware that when all the people are frightened, most of them are not thinking clearly, and they’re prone to making poor decisions, even about their ungranted, inalienable rights as American citizens. The government is just waiting and planning ways for that to happen, so that they can snap the trap shut once again.
