People who lost their jobs by going off on a customer, what is your story?

Also, was waiting tables at a place new the University I went to and we had a 45 minute wait on food and this one table was being particularly unruly... I went to ask how they were doing with drinks and w/e and this one frumpy lookin' dude starts getting uppity with me. Says they haven't even received their salads and that they were pissed, so I said oh yeah that's no good I hope it comes out soon. This dude turns beat red and yells into my face "are you some kind of fucking idiot?!?! is this your first time waiting tables!?!?!" I immediately put my hand on his shoulder and gripped him so tight he had to writhe in his seat. I said "I don't know who you think you are, but you don't ever talk to me like that again bud." I could tell he shat himself a little, then his friends just asked for the check and I smiled and said light heatedly "hey no problem, it'd be great to get never see you folks again" with a wink I turned back inside and made them wait another 10 minutes before I brought their checks. They all paid and as they were leaving I ran out to the door and waved and said with a smile "hey guys, have a great night" hahaha that one was fucking glorious for me, didn't get fired to that one either.
