People who have managed to become disciplined after having been procrastinators and indisciplined for a large part of their lives, how did you manage to do so? Can you walk us through the incremental steps you took to become better?

At some point my life become the lyrics of lose your self by Eminem.

I am a person who did bunch of stupid things, one of them was to apply a research project, not only i wasnt prepared for that type of routine in my life, also i wasnt that smart to finish every task on time. So things started to become messy. The prof i was working with was (and still is) very nice and tolerent but i felt i like i need to get my shit together, so i started to change. One research project follows another, and with each one of them the peers i worked together put the bar higher for me. So i had to adapt. At some point the job itself become to the point that, if i cant do it on time, then i shouldnt be there. So as the lyrics says :

" If you had
One shot
Or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
In one moment
Would you capture it
Or just let it slip? "
