People who moved out of the parent’s house before 30, how?

Got a partial academic scholarship to a college and took a TEACH Grant to cover the rest. Got my bachelor's, but did alternative certification while working for the teaching license to save money. (Some programs can be done while teaching instead of paying to student teach for a year. It was awful though, since the schools that will take a new, certification-pending teacher are bad enough to be desperate for workers.)

Then, quit the awful job I had while earning certification. That year was both straight up traumatic and one I hardly remember.

Moved back to parents for a few months to get therapy/psychiatric help while I was still young enough to be covered by their insurance, did pet-sitting jobs and subbed in a wide range of areas until I started getting fulltime job offers at the places I was subbing. Took them, and moved out about 6 months into my next full-time job. (Coworker clued me in on good apartments with not totally terrible rent.)
